About
The F‑15J(M) is Japan’s upgraded F‑15J variant under the Mid-Term Defense Program (MTDP). It features the AN/APG-63(V)1 radar, advanced electronics, support for AAM‑4B and AAM‑5 missiles, HMD, Link‑16 datalink, and strong countermeasures. Top-tier performance with great speed, climb, turn, and large missile bays
Playstyle
Climb above ~10 km, then fire long-range AAM‑4Bs at hot targets using the stealthy radar. You can follow up with AAM‑5 for close-range fights. Its high TWR and turn rate allow it to win tight circle fights—but avoid dragging into long endurance duels due to moderate energy bleed
Pros and Cons
Pros
➕ Very high thrust-to-weight and fast climb
➕ Excellent radar with stealth firing (AAM‑4B)
➕ Large countermeasure load (60 flares, 120 chaff)
➕ High maneuverability and tight turn circle
➕ Full datalink and HMD support
Cons
